MLM Shocking Facts You Absolutely Need To Know

MLM Marketing is a marketing structure that is used by some companies. The structure is designed to create a marketing and sales force by paying promoters for both the sales of the companies products they make and for new distributors they bring into the business that will go on to promote the companies product as well.

People who join and promote the company product are known as distributors, they do not earn a salary but instead they are awarded a commission dependant on how many sales they make themselves and the sales of their downline. The process is similar to a franchise.

A down line is the people that have paid you to join the MLM business and you will get a percentage of their sales. So in essence you pay to join into the business and then for every product you or a member of your down line sell you earn money for.

Here are some advantages of MLM’s: Quick and easy to get set up, Can start straight away, If you join when the MLM business is relatively new you can stand to build a large down line and therefore earn a lot of money.

Here are the Disadvantages of MLM; Methods of selling are outdated, this is because most MLM models encourage you to sell to your firends and family, pick up the phone and tell people about your product. These aren’t exactly cutting edge and many people will not be interested in sales calls! Another disadvantage is if you join near the bottom of the line most of the market will be saturated and you’re competing with experienced marketers. Now you will not be able to compete with these as nearly all MLM’s do not provide training on Internet Marketing and techniques.

So overall I think MLM’s are outdated as the marketing techniques they teach are no longer effective. Nearly every MLM will not provide you with the real training you need on Internet Marketing if you are to make money online and set up a successful home business.

Now there of course there are people making money from MLM’s and I’m not by any means trying to say they cannot make you money, but there is a very high failure rate as there’s a lack of training and support!

One of the main reasons people join an MLM is because of the lifestyle that is portrayed however at the beginning you will spend most of your time calling people on the phone and more often than not getting negative responses. This doesn’t sound like fun to me!

However if you have got your mind set on joining an MLM make sure you join near the top of a line and that there will be the support and training you require!

Cash Gifting The Most Popular Scam Around! Read This Before Buying!

In my opinion cash gifting is the weirdest/most stupid apparent business/money making opportunity out there to become popular on the Internet.

So the idea behind cash gifting is that by giving money to each other some how we end up with more than we started, ermm well that doesn’t make sense! If everybody is giving everybody else the same amount then we’d end up with the same amount! That’s correct but isn’t what happens, what does happen is the “founder” of the company (that will be around no longer than a couple of months) starts the idea so more and more people give them the cash and he creates a downline. And in order for the downline to sell the “opportunity” they learn basic skills on getting traffic on the Internet.

The business will vanish in a couple of months and the people at the bottom of the downline never get their money back, you cannot sue the person as it was a “gift” so they do not have to give you anything in return for the money. If you do not believe me go to YouTube and you will see many people that have been conned with these cash gifting scams!

If you really want to drive traffic to a site you can buy an ebook on how to for around 40, seems a lot cheaper than $10,000 to me! However this time you actually have a product on the website that will benefit someone rather than a false opportunity.

Another major flaw in the system is that you have to send cash, why wouldn’t you send a cheque, it would make more sense surely as if for whatever reason your package wasn’t delivered you could always cancel it!

Also what if your “sponsor” or “mentor” turns around and says there wasn’t any money in the package even if there was. There’s no way you can prove it and Fed Ex do not provide compensation for actual money. This means it’s your word against theirs, a situation I would never like to find myself in!

So Cash Gifting is good for people that set up the “business” or are at the top of the downline as they can make (receive) a lot of money from people that are looking for a way to earn more money themselves!

On the other hand nearly all people will pay their money and never receive anything in return! Please make sure you are not one of those people! I have read a couple of peoples articles promoting cash gifting where they say you do not have to do a lot of work or have knowledge to receive a cash gift! So what does that mean you just sit around and a package comes to your door with thousands of dollars in it!?

If you really want to know how to promote a genuine product but do not have Internet Marketing skills you can either learn them or outsource them! Cash gifting is NOT a legitimate business opportunity!

Internet Marketing Can Be Extremely Tough And Depressing Unless You Have A Team

One of the major factors in becoming a successful home business owner is to surround yourself with other like minded individuals that share the same ambitions and goals. You want to be part of a team that is willing to help you and share their knowledge. Then in return you too can do the same for them.

This is extremely important with an Internet Marketing business because one person cannot know everything in this industry, if they do show me and I will eat my own hat (even though I do not wear hats ;) ! There is just far too much information and too many techniques out there for one person to learn! However if you are part of a helpful team of members you can all help each other out and progress quicker.

Here’s an example of how teamwork can really progress your business far quicker than going it alone; you’re trying to use as many ways to promote your business/product as possible but there’s one problem…you are hopeless at article writing, now without a team you will either spend hours with writers block struggling and may have to miss out article marketing all together. However within a team you can ask and find people that are really good at article marketing, they could then teach you techniques on how to write articles effectively or maybe even write some articles for you and in return you can help them out on another Internet Marketing technique you’re particularly strong on such as Pay Per Click Advertising etc.

By helping each other out you are continually progressing each day, meaning your business will never come to a stand still! By continually progressing your business will grow and grow and you will make money online far quicker than going it alone!

I know that I would of not had such a successful Internet Marketing business so fast if it wasn’t for gaining knowledge and tips from team members. Especially from one in particular who set up all of my websites as I am a complete techno phobe; this saved me weeks of sitting in front of my laptop scratching my head trying to figure out how to link all my sites together, load videos and set up my opt-in form etc.

Now I myself mentor others on the art of Internet Marketing and there are many other mentors out there too! By having a team around your ideas can be bounced off each other and 2 heads are better than 1, especially if those 2 heads are in fact 50! Teams allow people with ranging experience levels in Internet Marketing to connect which is especially helpful for newbies as they are getting first class knowledge from experienced Internet Marketers who have been there, done that and got the T-shirt!

So if you have seen an Internet Marketing business opportuity you are interested in do your research and make sure there will be plenty of support around for you to enable you to continually progress your business!

If you see someone out there that’s a successful Internet Marketer and you have the opportunity to go into business with them then great! However do not rush in and impulse buy, make sure you do your research and that they will give you the time and attention you need. I suggest trying to contact them first, if you never hear back then it’s not likely they’ll be great for you if you do join them as they’ll never be reachable! Just because one person has the most money, flashiest car etc does not mean they’ll be the best mentor at all!

A lack of support from a mentor or no team is the key reason why so many people fail in the Internet Marketing Indsutry! They buy into an opportunity because of the claims of wealth an Internet Marketing business can bring but then never receive any support; they then fail to progress their business and therefore lose belief and eventually give up somewhere down the line!

Now unfortunately there are some small minded people that only sell “Hype” products meaning the person cannot influence whether they become a success as the opportunity is not real! However most people fail because they do not receive the support they needed to build their own successful business and make money online so make sure you will benefit from a supporting mentor and team!
